Hotel Ariston, Paestum

The hotel offers very large rooms, with flat screen TVs and spacious bathrooms which were very clean, though the decor seemed outdated. The service was exceptional and went above and beyond to help with bus timetables and make the stay unforgettable. The location is convenient for those with a car, being only a short distance from the beach and landmarks. The dining experience was diverse and delicious, filled with local favorites. Overall, a memorable stay with minor issues in room decor.

The hotel's rooms were quite disappointing with heavy curtains and dusty carpets giving a musty smell, lacking a view and brightness. On the upside, the service was top-notch with very attentive staff. The location was good overall but lacked some poolside furniture. The dining experience was delicious but had some initial hiccups. The facilities were adequate with some room for improvement.

Two negatives were that some staff were not very nice, and the Wi-Fi had to be paid for separately.
